Overlay not working

If the overlay is not working properly, please check the following:

1. Run as administrator

Check if the OP.GG app is running as an administrator.

You can right-click the app icon in the taskbar and select 'Run as administrator'.

2. Enable overlay hotkey

In the Overlay menu, check if the [In-game Overlay Settings - Hotkey [Shift + Tab]] option is enabled.

 

3. Check OP.GG logo display

Check if the OP.GG logo is displayed on the left side of the in-game screen.

If the logo is displayed, click it and send any error messages shown on the screen to customer support.

 

4. Check Focus Mode activation

Check if Focus Mode is enabled! If Focus Mode is enabled, the overlay will not be displayed on the screen.

What is Focus Mode?
This mode is used when you want to focus on the game, such as when the game progresses to mid-to-late stages and you no longer need the in-game overlay, or when the screen is obscured and inconvenient in TFT (Teamfight Tactics).

 

5. Use of graphics card software and third-party apps

If you are using graphics card software such as MSI Afterburner or AMD graphics drivers, or simultaneously using third-party apps that support overlay functions, the overlay may not work properly due to conflicts.

If you are using RivaTuner Statistics Server, please check if the problem is resolved by following these two methods:

1️⃣ Replace Global file

  1. Go to the folder where RivaTuner is installed. (e.g., C:\Program Files (x86)\RivaTuner Statistics Server\Profiles)
  2. Download the Global file and paste it into this folder. (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1N3iqZ6PJQOZVDo4hXmc-Bd-V0vQRW5v-/view?usp=sharing)
  3. Completely close MSI Afterburner and restart it.

2️⃣ Enable 'Use Microsoft Detours API hooking' option

  1. Go to [RivaTuner > Setup].
  2. In the General tab, enable the 'Use Microsoft Detours API hooking' option.

6. Firewall exception settings

Please disable firewall settings or configure your firewall to allow the OP.GG app.

  1. Go to Windows Security → Firewall & network protection, and click [Allow an app through firewall].
  2. When the window appears, click [Allow another app] to allow the OP.GG app. 

 

7. Use of Mac OS version

The OP.GG desktop app for Mac OS does not support overlays.
