Q. It says the profile is private.

If it says the profile has been set to private when you search for stats, you need to set your account’s visibility as public on the Overwatch 2 client.

How to set your profile as public

  1. Go to [SOCIAL] - [PRIVACY] in settings.
  2. Set your CAREER PROFILE VISIBILITY as “PUBLIC.”
  3. Exit the game and restart.

Q. My profile still shows as private even after setting it to public.

If your profile still appears as private even after setting it to public, please check the following:

  1. Check if you set your profile as public on the Overwatch 2 client, not on Battle.net.
  2. Check if you exited the Overwatch 2 client after setting your profile to public. (The client needs to be restarted for the profile to switch to public.)
  3. Check if your profile is displayed as public on the official Overwatch 2 website.
